Traffic Restrictions

One-way traffic restrictions are imposed in Delph & Dobcross on Whit Friday:

Delph

One-way up Millgate, through the centre of Delph and then up Delph Lane. Note that coaches may pass through Delph village if they so wish. There is a clear-way through the village for coaches who arrive and find there are too many waiting. (It's not a case of once you're in you're stuck as many people believe.)

Diggle

There will be road closures and parking restrictions for the Diggle contest. Details (including residents parking provision) are available on the Diggle Contest web-site.

Dobcross

One-way from Wool Road along Sugar Lane then down Woods Lane.

Greenacres

Greenfield

Chew Valley Road is closed to traffic other than PSVs and residents. Coaches are no longer allowed to follow the band along Chew Valley Road. Instead they must turn into Greenbridge Lane and then return towards Uppermill.

Uppermill

High Street Uppermill will be closed to traffic other than band buses and public transport buses. There will be no taxis.
